This is an antique solid silver topped claret jug. The cut glass body is decorated with a diamond cut with sunbursts above. The solid silver mount has an ornate side handle and reeded spout. The sides have applied leaves. Hallmarked for London 1884 bearing the four sterling marks. The maker is Edward Hutton.
