Antique Old Sheffield Plate Entree Dish with Scrolled Handles
This is an antique Old Sheffield Plate entree dish. Standing on four bun feet. Gadroon mounted with shells on each corner. Scrolled side handles. The lid dismantles. The side flap lifts to put hot water in for keeping food warm. Crested with an armorial to the front. c.1830 British made with a makers mark for T & J Creswick of Sheffield stamped underneath. This has been replated.
