This is an antique silver plated entree dish by Thomas Bradbury & Sons of Sheffield. Their makers mark is stamped underneath. Standing on four large realistic paw feet with scrolls and leaves above. This dish is boldly mounted with Gadroon shells and acanthus leaves. This retains its inner liner where hot water is placed below. The shaped lid sits snuggly on top. It has a large removable key handle. c1880 British made. This is sold in original plate with very little wear.
