This is an antique wood and silver plated jam or preserve dish. The body is made of shaped oak. It has an applied vacant shield to the front. Silver plated band around with a swing handle plus lid. This retains its original cream ceramic liner which is crazed. c.1920 British made. This has been resilvered.
