A handsome antique silver plated jam or preserve dish. The stand has four double bent vertical feet. Fixed straight side rods with a horizontal straight handle. Hexagon shaped tray that is engraved with leaves. Open circular space where the original liner sits in. The liner has 3 colours. The bottom is of cranberry glass with a band of scrolled clear glass halfway up. And finally decorated with yellow frilled glass on top. The stand has been resilvered. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Walker & Hall of Sheffield stamped underneath.
