This is an antique silver plated sugar scuttle. Designed to look like a coal scuttle. The sugar scoop slots into its opening at the top. Standing on a circular pedestal base with the scuttle on top. There is a handle at the back that is decorated with a shell. The main body is crisply engraved with ferns. This has been replated. c1880 British made.
