This is a novelty antique silver plated spoon warmer modelled realistically as a leather shoe. Showing a well worn shoe with heel and open flaps with eyelets for shoe laces. Flat flush hinge with an opening for a spoon. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Desprez of Bristol stamped under the lid. This has been resilvered.
