These are a smart pair of antique silver plated asparagus tongs. The long handle has an Art Deco design. The tongs are pierced with a horizontal decoration on one side and an oval vacant cartouche on the other. These are sold in original plate with very little wear. c1890 British made with a makers mark for Thomas White & Co of Birmingham stamped inside the handle.
