This is a fabulous quality antique silver plated tea set. Comprising a teapot, hot water jug or coffee pot (can also be used for claret) a cream jug and sugar bowl. All stand on plain circular bases. The bulbous bodies are adorned with swags of flowers and leaves. Figural heads of maidens are applied around. These have been replated. c1880 British made with a makers mark for James Dixon & Sons stamped underneath.
