This is a smart antique silver plated tea caddy by Mappin & Webb. Their makers mark is stamped underneath. Oval in shape. This is crisply engraved with a swag of flowers and leaves around a vacant cartouche. The top has a ribbon shaped into a bow. The top edge is engraved with a band of scrolls and stars. This has a hinged lid. c1880 British made. This is sold in original plate with virtually no wear.
