Antique Silver Plated Adjustable Wine or Port Bottle Holder

This is an antique silver plated wine or port bottle holder. The shaped galleried base is engraved with grapes and leaves on a vine. The handle can be adjusted to the height of the bottle by twisting the wing nut to adjust. The circular ring at the top goes over the neck of the bottle. This is also engraved with grapes and leaves on a vine. c1880 British made with a makers mark for Hukin & Heath stamped underneath. This is sold in original plate with little wear. Wine is not included.
