This is an antique silver plated and cut glass biscuit barrel. The glass is cut in a geometric fashion with vertical and horizontal lines. It is mounted with a silver plated band with a swing handle and the silver plated lid is engraved with initials. This is sold in original plate with little wear. c1900 British made.
