Here is a smart vintage oak and silver plated biscuit box. Slightly bulbous body. This has four bands of silver plate wrapped around the wooden body with a silver plated shield in the middle. Pull off lid with a swing handle. This has its original ceramic liner. c1900 British made. This has been replated.
